Stampin Up Bella

Hello.  I am on my second game of the day.  And it is halftime so I have a quick card for you.

My son has a  puppy that is half Australia Shepard.  I wanted to make a card to send to him.  I thought this set from Stampin Up would be perfect.  I am not good at coloring it but I think my son will know it is suppose to be his puppy.  Instead of a normal card, I made the card into a bone.   There is some embossing on the lower right side.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Crafty Gals - 2nd Anniversary
   Tuesday Throwdown - Anything Goes
   Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes

Well off to watch some more football.  I will chat with you later.

Jaded Blossom

Hello and how is everyone today?  Happy New Year.

I am trying to get back into the swing of things.  My sister is going to see this post and tell me I am playing without her and I am, but I am doing it while watching football.  I hope to get several cards done today.  And Connie, I am going to try my best to call you later tonight so we can finish our snowman card.

In the meantime,  I need a few birthday cards so I decided to play with this Jaded Blossom set that I have had for some time.  This little girl is just so cute.  I went with orange as the main color.  I feel like my go to colors are pink and blue and I wanted to use something different.  I used scraps for all the paper (not the actual card) and copic markers to color.

I am using this card in the following challenges:
Love To Scrap - Anything Goes
Sugar Pea - Mix It Up #26
   Jaded Blossoms - Crafter's Choice
613 Ave Create - Anything Goes
Freshly Made Sketches - Sketch #268

Well I am going to pick up everything from this project and then I am off to find something else to work on during the Alabama game.

Have a great day.

Twisted Easel

Hello again.  I have a quick one and then I am off to bed.  I have made a ton of regular easel cards, but I have never tried a twisted one.  I did tonight.  I used one that I found over at Silhouette Online.  I really like the pattern and I think I will make another and change it up a little bit.  I think the 31 needs to come off and something else added to the middle.  Hopefully, I will have time tomorrow night to play around with it.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Tuesday Throwdown - Easel Card
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
   Aud Sentiment - Fall

Last of Summer

Good morning.  I hope everyone has plan to enjoy the last day of the weekend.  I am working but that is ok.  I really don't mind.

I still have a few summer projects I want to work on so hopefully I will finish them up this week.  Who knows?

I haven't done a shaker card in a while so I didn't to do a quick and simple beach one. It is always fun to put sand in a shaker.  I put to much this time around but that is ok.  I stamped the flip flops from a old set of stamps ( I don't even know where I got them.) and then cut them out.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   CASology - Beach
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
   Craft Rocket - Anything Goes
Crafty Gals - For The Girls

Off to do a few things before work.  Chat with you later.

Give A Crafter A Cookie

It is time for another Give A Crafter A Cookie challenge.  It is hard to believe it has been two weeks already.  This one is going to be a great one.

It is sponsored by Imagine That by Kris.  I can't wait to see what every one comes up with.  This will be so much fun.

I went with a design from Imagine That.  I just love this little cow.  She has him in several different themes.  I started with this first card.  It was the one I sent to the group to show.  The apple paper is from Happy Hearts Studio.  After looking at it, I decided I didn't like the apples, so I remade the card.  I printed out more digital paper from Happy Hearts Studios and I like the second one much better.

Make sure you come over to Give a Crafter A Cookie and enter the challenge this week.

Distressing

Hello everyone.  Day two back to school and work.  The days are getting back to normal but things have been busy.  It just take a while to get the routine back.

When I saw the sketch over at Little Tangles, I thought it would be a good way to distress.  I even got the stripes fairly even.  I am slowly getting better at it.  I used Tim Hotz's Salty Ocean ink pad.  The digital stamp is my Little Miss Muffet.  And you know I just had to have it since she is hugging an elephant.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Little Miss Muffet - Anything Goes #145
Jo's Scrap Shack - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes #328
   Lawnscaping - Texture
   Little Tangles - Sketch

Off to play some more.  Hopefully I will be back soon.

Football Again

Hello.  I hope everyone in the US had a great Labor Day weekend.  Mine was good and busy.  I start back to work tomorrow.  Back to normal.

I want to get my desk cleaned off before I head to bed tonight.  It may take me forever.  I don't know how it got so messed up.

I made this card last week and I never did get it posted.  This was the start of college football season so I just had to make a card.  I used the paper from Happy Hearts Studio and the football helmet pattern from Silhouette Online.

This is card is standard white card.  It is my favorite to use.  No extra postage and I don't have to look for envelopes.  Just perfect.

I am using it for the following challenges:
Crafty Gals - Anything Goes #87
As You Like It & Why - Favorite Card Base
   Dream valley - Monochromatic

I stamped out this rose weeks ago and thought it would be great.  I don't have a lot of experience with watercolors but it is fun to play with them.  I really need to use them more often.

I can't wait to see what every one comes up with so head on over to Cut It Up.

Sesame Street

Me again.  This is probably my last one for the night.

I have had this little creature in my coloring box for some time now.  I wanted to make a card for my niece's little boy.  I thought he would really like it.  He is from Craftin' Desert Divas.   I made him orange to look like Ernie from the Sesame Street.

Shelf Card

Howdy....

I made one more shelf card.  I just love making these.  I am going to try to make one from scratch with my own ideas.  So keep a watch out for it.

This is a cowboy one.   Chat with you later on hopefully.

Back To School

Hello again.

Months ago, I  bought a mega bundle from Paper Creators for shelf cards.  All of them are print and cuts.  It is the cutest set of cards.  The set has to be convert into cut files for the Silhouette and it takes a while but I just love them.  You will be seeing more of these as I get them converted. I am going to try and get one more done today.

This is the back to school one.  Just so cute. I am going to put one on my boss' deck Tuesday when we go back to work.

I am using it for the following challenges:
    Creative Knockouts - Schools In
Glitter N Sparkler - Back To School
Crafty Sentiments - Lots of Layers
Die Cuttin Divas - Anything Goes

Football Season

Hello and Happy Hump Day.  One of the girls that works with me at the school, has a hump day t-shirt.  She wears it every Wednesday.  The elementary age kids just love it.

Sunday, I was in football mood.  Alabama has their first football game of the season Saturday and I wanted to have a few new things made up.  Hopefully my coffee table will be full for the first game.

I also made a new magnet to go with the schedule.  It was quick and easy to put together.  I found it over in the Silhouette Online store.  I printed and then cut the I using Heart Heart Studio paper.

It doesn't really go with any specific challenges, but these are the ones I am using it for:
Simon Says Wednesday - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes #327
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #125

Chat with you a little later.

College Football

Hello.  Just a quick one before I head to the shower.  I am working today and I only have an hour before I leave.

This is an old project.  College football season is here.  I have had this schedule on my freezer for three years now.  Each year, I just print a new schedule and I am ready to go.  My son has the same one on his refrigerator.  This year, he needed a whole new set, the old one didn't make it through the last move.  I took the new set (they are the same except this one is a little bigger).  I purchased the pattern from the Silhouette Online store.  It is one of my favorites.  The big elephant is a decal I have had forever.

That's it for now.  Hopefully I will be around after work tonight.

Purple

Hello.  And welcome to another weekend.  I hope every one gets a chance to relax and at least enjoy part of the weekend.

If you are a regular on my site, you know I don't use a lot of purple.  It just isn't one of my go to colors.  A couple of sites have yellow and purple challenges so I decided to see what I could come up with.  It is more yellow than purple but it is there.

The flower jar is a Bugaboo digital and the Birthday Wishes sentiment is My Craft Spot (closed now).  I added some Winks of Stella to the flower that I popped out.

I am using it in the following challenges:
Sugar Pea - Mix It Up #11
Cupcake Inspiration - Purple, White & Honey
Tuesday Morning Sketches - Sketch #366
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes #124
   Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
MHK Designs - Purple & Yellow

Off to vacuum before I get ready for work.  Chat with you tonight hopefully.

Favorite Thing Ever

Hello.  When I think Summer, I think ice cream, but really I can eat ice cream year 'round.

This little cutie from Bugaboo is one of my favorites.  Something about her.....The filagree stripe is a Spellbinder border.  I had to cut out part of the middle to get it to fix on the card. You can't see it but I also added Winks of Stella on the ice cream and the little heart.

I am using it in the following challenges:
   Catch The Bug - Bingo
Dream Valley - Pretty In Pink
Hiding In My Craft Room -  Yummy
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes #326
Freshly Made Sketches - Sketch #251

Off to clean my craft table.  Have a great night.
